Riviera Maya Destination Wedding

I have known Charisse since middle school. When she contacted me about photographing her wedding, I was super excited. Then she told me she and Tyler would be getting married in Cancun Mexico! That excitement turned into pure glee. I absoloutely adore these two. At their engagement session, I got to meet Tyler for the first time. He is the gentle soul type man with a kind heart who loves Charisse with every ounce of his being. He was soft spoken, but still laughed at my silly jokes (he may have been laughing AT me! haha!).

Fast forward to Cancun, I was watching my long time friend marry her best friend through my lens. Charisse and Tyler had a sand ceremony and their officiant was a good friend of theirs! Their ceremony was moved inside due to a crazy rain storm, but it was like mother nature knew we needed a window for photos outside. The rain stopped literally right as their ceremony ended! We went down to the beach for some amazing views of the gulf.

I always love photographing the weddings of friends. We may be “grown ups” now, but I still see that girl I always thought was amazing growing up. Congratulations Charisse and Tyler!
